We have done our best to include the most interesting and accessible attractions of Scotland. However, the design and layout of some castles and historical buildings makes access very difficult. Therefore, some of them will be partially visited.

Day 1
Arrival in Edinburgh. Pick-up of the rented car. You will vsit of the city center and the Edinburgh castle. Overnight.rnrnTip: we suggest to visit the Castle during lunch time for the one ou0027clock gun firing. rnrnA magnificent city nestled within a series of volcanic hills, Edinburgh is divided into two distinct areas. One is the old city, perched on the crest of the hill that connects the castle with the Holyroodhouse palace, along Royal Mile path, with its markets, alleys, courtyards, taverns and clubs.rnThe other one is the new part, surrounding Gorge Square, where the Royal Theatre, the Register House, the Physicians Hall and Assembley Rooms are located. Edinburgh Castle dominates the skyline; it is full of history and is an excellent introduction to Scotland. Inside the walls we will be able to visit Saint Margaretu0027s Chapel, the Stone of Destiny and the crown jewels. Beyond the castle we will admire the Old Town and the Georgian New Town with their remarkable and fascinating architectural contrasts, museums and art galleries; the Royal Yacht Britannia, Holyrood Palace and much more.

Day 2
Breakfast and departure from your hotel to the north, crossing the famous Forth Bridge. First stop after about 1h30min driving to Pitlochry, a small town in the Highland, where you can stop for lunch and visit the Blair Athol whiskey distilleries and then the Blair Castle (15min driving) and its wonderful gardens.rnArrival at Inverness in the afternoon (1h30min driving), free time and overnight.rnrnNote: it will not be possible to visit the production of the distillery (ancient and inaccessible building), but you will be able to access other areas (reception / bar area , warehouse, viewing gallery, filling store) and there will be an experienced guide that through photos and a sensory kit will explain you the production process. The tour will end with 3 tastings in the beautiful mash tun bar and you will receive a take home tasting glass. (1 hour)rnrnLocated at the mouth of the River Ness, Inverness is the northernmost city in the United Kingdom and is located at the gates of the Scottish Highlands. Its wide shallow river is famous for jumping Atlantic salmon and flows through the heart of this small town. The river starts from the dark depths of Scotlandu0027s most famous lake, which gives its name to the famous monster.

Day 3
From Inverness, you will continue south along the west side of Lochness Lake with a proper stop at Urquhart Castle (30min from Inverness). Continue south on the A82 passing through Fort Augustus (25min driving) the small village which, for its privileged location, is the place that allows an exclusive panoramic view of Loch Ness. A unique viewpoint that in recent years has become very popular. You will drive along the A82 and the endless hills landscape will bring you close to Isle of Skye. Take the A87 from Invergarry to reach the Eilean Donan Castle (1 hour by car), which is the best known and most photographed Scottish castle. Arrival to the Isle of Skye, overnight. rnrnYou will be driving along the A82, the most spectacular road to travel in the whole region.rnrnu0022Attention: the Eilean Donan castle is part of those protected monuments that cannot be subjected to improvements for a better accessibility. Therefore, in case of physical impairments, you will be able to access the outside area of the castle free of charge and take a virtual tour at the Visitor Center. The Visitor center is fully accessible.rnTip: visit the castle just before sunset to enjoy the backlit colours that illuminate the structure.rn

Day 4
You will enjoy a morning tour bay car of the Isle of Skye: endless hills and close encounters with the Highlands Buffalos. You will reach Armadale, where you will take the ferry to Mallaig (about 30min crossing). From Mallaig, take the A380 and finally the A82 for Fort William (1hour trip). Arrival at the hotel and overnight.rnrnThe Isle of Skye is known for rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. It has a jagged coast with peninsulas and narrow lakes, which spread from the mountainous interior.rn

Day 5
From Fort William you will take the A82 to Stirling but without haste! The journey is just over 2 hours long but you can stop in Glencoe (25 minutes from Fort William), one of the most suggestive and spiritual places in Scotland. You can then stop along the way to take beautiful photos and admire the enchanting landscape that surrounds you. Once in Stirling you can visit the city centre and have lunch in a typical Scottish pub. Do not forget to visit the beautiful Stirling castle! In the afternoon, take the A9 which will take you back to Edinburgh (1 hour). Arrival at the hotel and overnight.rnrnFor the on the road lovers, this part of the tour is absolutely inevitable. The Glen Coe is definitely the reason why many travellers visit Scotland. Perhaps the most beautiful area in the whole country where 007 Skyfall was filmed. Enjoy it all! Glencoe has also been a film set in several Harry Potter films.rn
